The Racing Rabbits

The Racing Rabbits is the group of the children aged between 3 and 5 years old.



Children have breakfast at 07:00 am, Lunch at 11:00am and Dinner at 05:00 pm. Also, they have a nap at 12:00pm. So the perfect time to do activities with them is at 09:30am and 02:30pm. But the Time of activity may change.

 

These children do not go to the kindergarten, so they stay in the orphanage all the day. They really want to learn new things, to discover the world and play games. 

 

But there are some rules you have to respect when you want to do an activity with them.

1. The activity has to be in a different area than the room where they spend the most of their time because in that room they play with toys, they work their imagination and they do not follow directions. So they will not understand and they will want to do what they use to do.

2. The activity has to be prepared before the children arrive in the room of the activity.

3. Take out only the equipment you need, if you take out all the balls, all the cones,... They will not understand the directions, they will want to play with everything.

4. When you go to get the children in their room, have them line up to go out of the room and go down the stairs. Once in the activity room, they have to seat down on the flour or on some chairs you would have prepared so now they can listen to you and understand the activity.

/!\ Make sure they do not bring toys out of their room.

5. It is difficult to tell them the directions because you probably do not speak Vietnamese and they do not speak English, but they are very smart, and they are looking at you, so do it yourself and after they will do the same !

6. After the activity, it is important to give them water to drink.

 

These rules rules that will help you a lot !

For the activities, make sure they are not to difficult for the children, it is better to start with too easy activities than with too difficult activities. I advise you to visit our forum to discover and share some activities to do with them !
